Just a helpful reminder for folks if you ever find a pet in the evening/nighttime hours and can’t keep them at home til the shelter opens in the am:

St Louis City: Humane Society on Macklind has an overnight drop off system.

St Charles County: The Emergency Clinic in O’Fallon will keep found pets overnight and transfer to the appropriate shelter in the AM.

St Louis County: The new Humane Society location at Page/Schuetz has a 24 hour intake. If you find an injured animal in St Louis County, you can take them to Animal Emergency Clinic-Kirkwood, Midwest Veterinary Referral Center (MVRC) n Chesterfield, Veterinary Speciality Services (VSS) in Ballwin.
